Easter Sunday is March 28, 2027, the last weekend of Palm Beach County’s spring break. The Town of Jupiter runs three Easter-season events for children. One has a 2027 date already; for the other two we show what the town did in 2026 and will add the 2027 dates when the town posts them. We never guess a new date.

Touch-A-Truck Spring Fling, Friday, March 19

The town’s Touch-A-Truck doubles as its big spring egg event. Children collect eggs from each vehicle on display, from police and fire trucks to a garbage truck and construction equipment. There are thousands of treat-filled eggs, a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, spring crafts, airbrush tattoos and face painting, bounce houses, a live DJ and food vendors. The first hour, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., is horn free. It is free; leave pets at home.

Hippity Hop Hunt, for 5 and under

The town’s Hippity Hop Hunt is a morning of games, crafts, a visit from the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt just for the youngest. The town’s 2026 hunt was Tuesday, March 31, at 10 a.m. at the community center, at $15 for residents and $19 for nonresidents, with a sibling discount. The 2027 date is not out yet.

Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

An indoor hunt for prizes and candy at the Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, in three age groups: 5 to 6, 7 to 10 and 11 to 14. Bring glow-in-the-dark gear. The town lists the 2027 date as to be announced.

What is open on Easter Sunday

Based on the 2026 schedules; we will update this when the 2027 lists are out:

  • Palm Tran: Sunday service, administrative offices closed.
  • Palm Beach County libraries: closed on Easter Sunday 2026, on the system’s holiday closing list.
  • Trash: Easter is not one of WM’s two days off (Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), so collection runs as normal. See trash and recycling.

What this means for you

  • Put Friday, March 19, on the calendar now: it is the one Easter event with a 2027 date.
  • Watch the town’s registration site in early 2027 for the two paid hunts.
  • The rest of the break: spring break in Jupiter. Next on the calendar: Mother’s Day.
