What Mega Bash is
The town helped bring spring training to Jupiter, providing land and facilities with Palm Beach County and Major League Baseball, and it partners with the stadium each year on Mega Bash, its page says. The stadium hosts Major League spring training every March and minor league baseball every summer, so the fireworks follow a Jupiter Hammerheads home game.
Last year: the 2026 Mega Bash
In 2026, Mega Bash ran Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, as a celebration of America’s 250th birthday. The Hammerheads hosted the Dunedin Blue Jays. On July 4 Jupiter lost 9-6, with Dunedin adding insurance runs in the ninth inning, according to the team’s game report.

Fireworks at home: the law
Florida law, section 791.08 of the Florida Statutes, allows consumer fireworks on three designated holidays: New Year’s Day, Jan. 1; Independence Day, July 4; and New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. The law says:
- It does not override local government rules on fireworks.
- A ban in a recorded homeowners association covenant still applies, but an HOA board cannot write new rules taking away an owner’s right to use fireworks on those holidays.
July 3 is not a designated holiday. Keep a hose or bucket of water nearby, and keep pets inside.
What this means for you
- Plan on July 3 or July 4 at the ballpark; buy game tickets from the team when they go on sale.
- Fireworks at home are legal on July 4 under state law, unless your HOA covenants ban them.
