Jupiter’s waterfront downtown has two parts: the Jupiter Riverwalk, a waterfront path the town has been building along the Intracoastal for years, and Harbourside Place, the restaurant, shopping and hotel district the town calls the Riverwalk’s entertainment district. Between them they cover dinner, a Sunday market, live music, a river aquarium and the view of the lighthouse.

The Riverwalk

The Riverwalk runs along the eastern shore of the Intracoastal from Jupiter Ridge Natural Area north to the Jupiter Inlet. When complete it will be about 2.5 miles of 15-foot-wide path for walkers and cyclists, and it is part of the East Coast Greenway. Our trails guide has the stops from south to north.

The Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk, 25 S. Coastal Way, sits under the east span of the Indiantown Road bridge. It hosts the town’s events on the water, including Jupiter HarbourFest in October, and parking there is free except during events.

Harbourside Place

Harbourside Place opened in December 2014 north of the Indiantown Road bridge. It has 16 shops, eight restaurants, the Wyndham Grand Jupiter hotel, public boat docks and a waterfront amphitheater that hosts concerts, car shows and community events.
