Bakeries in Jupiter: sourdough and bagels

Jupiter’s bakeries are mostly bagel shops: one in the shopping center at 201 N. U.S. Highway 1, one on East Indiantown Road near A1A and one in the plaza at 5430 Military Trail. The town’s sourdough bakery is on West Indiantown Road.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Jupiter’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added bakeries from their own sites, chain location pages and the Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants inspection file. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. One bagel shop has no website we could find; it is listed because a state inspection in the last three months shows it open. A donut shop in OpenStreetMap, Luke’s Dixie Donuts, had a website that would not load for us, so it is not here yet. Chain cafes that sell bakery items, such as Panera Bread, are not on this list because we could not load their location pages. The list is alphabetical. Bagel Boyz is a bagel shop in the plaza at 5430 Military Trail. We found no website for it. A state inspection on Sept. 17, 2026, lists it at this address.

Bread by Johnny makes every loaf from scratch each day with freshly milled organic flour and a sourdough starter, according to its site. The daily breads start with a traditional sourdough loaf, and the site posts seasonal loaves, such as pumpkin bread on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this fall. The baker also runs a bakery in West Palm Beach and sells at green markets in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens on weekends.

Brooklyn Water Bagels on U.S. 1 makes kettle-boiled, New York-style bagels, baked fresh in the store each day, and sells them by the baker’s dozen. Its Jupiter page also lists fresh-baked muffins and cookies. Catering orders need 24 hours’ notice.

Einstein Bros. Bagels on East Indiantown Road lists bagels baked in the store, from classic sesame, onion and everything to its own signature and gourmet bagels, plus egg sandwiches and coffee.
